Duties
Mainly deployed on –
(a) supervision and certification of aircraft maintenance and servicing activities in accordance with Hong Kong Aviation Requirements 145 and Government Flying Service engineering procedures;
(b) training of maintenance staff; and
(c) any other duties as required by the Controller, Government Flying Service.
(Note: The appointees are required to wear uniform and work shifts / irregular hours.)

(c) 其他由政府飛行服務隊總監指派的工作。

Terms of appointment
New recruits will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.
聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人通常會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後，或可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。
How to apply
Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (https://www.csb.gov.hk). Applications which are incomplete or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be considered.
Candidates must state clearly the results of English Language obtained in the public examinations on the application forms. For qualifications awarded by local institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, copies of the relevant transcripts/diplomas/certificates/other qualification documents are not required to be submitted at this stage of application. As for qualifications obtained from institutions outside Hong Kong, they should submit copies of the relevant transcripts/diplomas/certificates or other qualification documents by post to the contact address on or before 22 October 2026. The on-line application number should be quoted on the envelope and copies of the supporting documents.
If candidates fail to provide the supporting information / documents as requested, their applications may not be considered. Applicants are required to provide their email addresses on the application forms. Candidates who are selected for written examination / interview will normally receive an invitation by email in about four to six weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for written examination / interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.

申請人必須在申請書上清楚列出英國語文科已獲取的公開考試成績。持有本地院校／香港考試及評核局所頒授學歷的申請人，在現階段毋須遞交修業成績表／文憑／證書／其他証明文件副本。至於持有非本地學歷的人士，則須提交修業成績表／文憑／證書／其他証明文件副本，並須在2026年10月22日或之前把所需的証明文件副本郵寄至聯絡地址，並在信封及各證明文件副本上註明網上申請編號。
如申請人沒有清楚提供所需的資料/証明文件，其申請書將可能不獲受理。申請人請於申請書內提供一個電郵地址。申請人如獲甄選予進一步考慮，通常會在截止申請日期後約四至六個星期內接獲電郵通知。如申請人未獲邀參加身筆試/面試，則可視作經已落選。

职位要求
- Candidates should -
- (a) have a Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department Aircraft Maintenance Licence (HKAR-66) in Category B1.1 or B1.3; and 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a supervisory position [Note (1)];
- (b) have a sound knowledge of a related licence category with the ability to obtain the licence category endorsement;
- (c) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note (2)] or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and be able to communicate in Chinese; and
- (d) have a pass result in Basic Law and National Security Law Test [Note (3)].
- 申請人必須：
- (a) 持有B1.1或B1.3類別的香港民航處《香港航空要求–66(航空器維修執照)》，並於取得資格後擁有5年相關督導經驗[註(1)]；
- (b) 對相關執照類別具備良好知識，並有能力為執照類別獲取批註；
- (c) 符合語文能力要求，在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考英國語文科成績達第2級[註(2)]或以上，或具同等成績﹔以及能以中文溝通；及
- (d) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[註(3)]。
