Duties
A Clinical Psychologist is mainly deployed on (a) conducting psychological assessments on persons in custody (PICs) for the courts and for the relevant review boards; (b) providing counselling for PICs; (c) advising, developing and implementing treatment programmes for the rehabilitation of PICs; (d) conducting relevant training for staff; (e) conducting work-related researches/studies; and (f) providing psychological treatment for staff and their family members as necessary.
(Note: The appointee will be subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance.)
職責
臨床心理學家主要負責(a)按法庭及相關覆檢委員會要求為在囚人士進行心理評估；(b)為在囚人士提供心理輔導；(c)建議、制定和推行針對在囚人士更生的治療計劃；(d)為職員提供相關訓練；(e)進行與工作相關的資料蒐集/研究；以及(f)按需要為職員和他們的家人提供心理治療。
(註：獲聘人士須受監獄條例約束。)
Terms of appointment
A new recruit will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.
聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人會按公務員試用條款受聘，試用期為三年。通過試用關限後，將可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。

Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (https://www.csb.gov.hk). Applications which are incomplete or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted.
Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation by email within two months from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for the interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. Please provide an accurate e-mail address in the application form. Applicants are responsible for checking their e-mails to ensure that the invitation will be duly received.

职位要求
- Candidates should (a) have a Master degree in Clinical Psychology from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent [General Note (a)]; (b) meet the language proficiency requirement of ‘Level 2’ result in the Use of English paper and ‘Level 1’ result in the Use of Chinese paper in the Common Recruitment Examination, or equivalent [Notes (iv) to (vii) under Entry Requirements]; (c) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English; and (d) have a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test [Note (viii) under Entry Requirements].
- 申請人必須(a)持有本地大學頒授的臨床心理學碩士學位，或具備同等學歷[附註(a)]；(b) 符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試的英文運用試卷取得「二級」成績，及在中文運用試卷取得「一級」成績，或具備同等學歷[入職條件註(4)至(7)]；(c)操流利粵語及英語；及(d) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[入職條件註(8)]。
