聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人通常會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後，或可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。
申請書如資料不全、以親身、郵寄、傳真或電郵方式遞交概不受理。
申請人如獲選參加面試，通常會在截止申請日期後六至十個星期內接獲電郵通知。申請人請確保已填寫正確的電郵地址。申請人如不獲邀參加面試，則可視作落選論。
Department 部門: Water Supplies Department 水務署
職責
水務化驗師的主要職責是:(a) 管理組內與化驗室的日常運作及人員、監察水質並執行物理、化學、細菌、生物和輻射等檢測，並就水務設施的處理過程提供意見及管控；(b) 分析水質數據，就水安全、水質或水處理等各類技術問題展開調查；(c) 執行輻射測量計劃，處理放射性物質和放射防護事務，並就相關法定程序提供意見；(d) 為化驗室和外勤工作的人員提供訓練；及(e) 執行總水務化驗師指派的其他工作。
申請方法
申請人必須在2026年9月11日或之前透過網上申請，詳見公務員事務局網站招聘事宜內的G.F.340網上申請系統(https://www.csb.gov.hk)。
申請人必須在2026年9月18日或之前把註項(c)所列的證明文件電郵至
[email protected]，並在電郵標題及各證明文件副本上註明『申請水務化驗師職位』及公務員事務局網站的G.F.340網上申請系統生成的網上申請編號。如申請人未能提供所需文件，其申請概不受理。
Duties
A Waterworks Chemist is mainly deployed on (a) supervising the work and staff of unit and laboratory, monitoring water quality and conducting chemical, bacteriological, biological and radiological examinations, and advising on and controlling treatment processes at waterworks installations; (b) analysing water quality data and investigating various aspects of problems related to water safety, water quality or treatment; (c) undertaking radiation monitoring programme, handling radioactive substances and radiological protection matters, and advising on statutory procedures; (d) training staff in laboratory and field work; and (e) performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Waterworks Chemist.
Terms of appointment
A new recruit will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.

Please specify "Application for Waterworks Chemist" and the on-line application number as generated by the G.F.340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (i) in the subject line of your email; and (ii) on every page of the supporting documents. If candidates fail to provide the supporting documents as required, their applications will not be considered.
Candidates who are selected for interview will receive an invitation by email normally within six to ten weeks from the closing date for application. Please ensure that your email address is accurately provided. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
