技工(水上活動中心救生員)／Artisan (Lifeguard at Water Sports Centre)

職責
技工(水上活動中心救生員)的主要職責為－
(1) 拯溺和急救；
(2) 協助執行法例和維持秩序；
(3) 駕駛救生艇巡邏進行水上活動的範圍和看顧進行水上活動的人士；
(4) 指示進行水上活動的人士上落船艇，並把船艇拖下水、拖上岸和拖回水上活動中心；
(5) 協助分派和收集水上活動器材／裝備，確保它們在使用前後均性能良好；
(6) 清潔水上活動器材和進行小型維修保養；
(7) 協助進行清潔工作；以及
(8) 執行冬季職務。

聘用條款
獲取錄的申請人通常會按公務員試用條款受聘三年；通過試用關限後，或可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。

信封面上須清楚註明「申請技工(水上活動中心救生員)職位」。信封上的郵戳日期將被視為申請日期。為避免郵件過期或未能成功派遞，在投寄前請確保信封面已清楚寫上正確地址及已貼上足夠郵資。所有郵資不足的郵件將不會派遞至本署，並會由香港郵政按情況退還寄件人或銷毀。申請人須自行承擔因未有支付足夠郵資而引致的任何後果。所有申請書，如資料不全、逾期遞交、以傳真、電郵方式遞交、申請人未妥為簽署、非使用指定的申請表格，將不獲處理。

持有本地院校／香港考試及評核局所頒授學歷的申請人，在現階段毋須遞交有關修業成績副本及證書副本。

申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試及技能測試，通常會在截止申請日期後約四至十個星期內接獲通知（以電郵或郵寄方式）。如遇到申請人數眾多或其他特殊情況，可能需時稍長。如申請人未獲邀參加技能測試及遴選面試，則可視作經已落選。

［註：獲取錄的申請人須注意下列各點－
(i) 須每星期淨工作45小時（不包括用膳時間）、或須輪班當值和不定時工作；
(ii) 須接受職系／部門首長的調派和調職，以及派往偏遠地區（包括離島）工作的安排；
(iii) 須接受在職訓練及定期接受拯溺和急救技術的重新評核；
(iv) 須穿着制服；以及
(v) 除非有關人員視力良好，無須配戴眼鏡即可執行拯溺工作，否則在當值時須配戴度數適合的不碎眼鏡及泳鏡。］

申請方法
申請表格(G.F.340[(7/2023修訂版)])可向民政事務總署各區民政事務處民政諮詢中心或勞工處就業科各就業中心索取。該表格也可從公務員事務局互聯網站（https://www.csb.gov.hk/）下載。

申請人須把填妥的申請表格，連同以下文件的副本，包括(i)有效的沙灘救生章、(ii)有效的急救證書、(iii)有效的船長三級或以上本地合格證明書及輪機操作員三級或以上本地合格證明書；或操作政府船隻的有效的本地合格證明書；或有效的本地遊樂船隻操作人二級或以上合格證明書，或同等資歷的證明書及(iv)由本港以外學府或非香港考試及評核局所頒授學歷的修業成績及證書，以親身或郵寄方式於二零二六年九月三十日或之前（親身遞交的申請書須於當日下午五時三十分前）送達香港新界沙田排頭街1-3號康樂及文化事務署總部7樓康樂事務部支援組聘用及編制小組。

申請人亦可於截止申請日期或之前透過公務員事務局互聯網站(https://www.csb.gov.hk)作網上申請，然後於截止申請日期後的一星期內（即二零二六年十月七日或之前）把上述文件（即(i)有效的沙灘救生章、(ii)有效的急救證書、(iii)有效的船長三級或以上本地合格證明書及輪機操作員三級或以上本地合格證明書；或操作政府船隻的有效的本地合格證明書；或有效的本地遊樂船隻操作人二級或以上合格證明書，或同等資歷的證明書及(iv)由本港以外學府或非香港考試及評核局所頒授的學歷的修業成績及證書）的副本以親身或郵寄方式送達聯絡地址，或電郵至[email protected]。請於信封面／電郵標題及文件副本的每一頁註明網上申請編號。如作網上申請的申請人未能提供所需的證明文件，其申請將不予考慮。

申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試及技能測試，必須提交以下文件的正本，包括(i)有效的沙灘救生章、(ii)有效的急救證書、(iii)有效的船長三級或以上本地合格證明書及輪機操作員三級或以上本地合格證明書；或操作政府船隻的有效的本地合格證明書；或有效的本地遊樂船隻操作人二級或以上合格證明書，或同等資歷的證明書及(iv)本地/非本地學歷的修業成績及證書以供核實其資格，並須提供副本（只適用於在遞交申請表時毋須夾附副本的文件）以作紀錄。申請人如未能提交所需文件的正本以供核實其資格，其申請將不予考慮。

［註：
(i) 申請人須在申請書上詳細列明本身的拯溺和急救資歷及工作經驗；
(ii) 符合入職條件的申請人或須經篩選才會獲邀參加遴選面試及技能測試，因此申請人須在申請表上詳列所有學歷及就業詳情；
(iii) 如申請人同時申請技工（水上活動中心救生員）及技工（泳灘/泳池）兩個職位，有關職位的技能測試將會合併進行，即經初步評為合資格的申請人只會獲邀請參加一次綜合技能測試，但會分別參加有關職位的遴選面試；以及
(iv) 申請人如屬康樂及文化事務署現職公務員，應在申請書上列明現時職級及現職崗位。］

Duties
An Artisan (Lifeguard at Water Sports Centre) is mainly deployed on -
(a) performing lifesaving and first aid duties;
(b) assisting in law enforcement and maintenance of order;
(c) patrolling water sports activities areas on rescue boat and watching participants carrying out water sport activities;
(d) directing participants in getting in and out of crafts and towing / launching the crafts into water and taking them out of water and back to the water sports centre;
(e) assisting in issuing and collection of water sports equipment / gears and assuring that they are in good condition before and after use;
(f) cleansing, minor repairs and maintenance of the water sports equipment;
(g) assisting in cleansing work; and
(h) winter work duties.

[Notes: Successful candidates should note that they are -
(i) required to work 45 hours net per week (excluding meal breaks) and they may be required to perform shift duties and work irregular hours;
(ii) subject to posting and transfer, and required to work in remote areas (including outlying islands) at the discretion of the Head of Grade/Department;
(iii) required to undergo in-service training and periodic reassessment of lifesaving and first aid skills;
(iv) required to wear uniform; and
(v) required to wear plastic corrective lens and goggles with appropriate prescription while on duty unless the officers have unaided good eyesight for lifesaving duties. ]

Terms of appointment
A successful candidate will be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, the officer may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.

How to apply
The completed application form together with copies of (i) valid Beach Lifeguard Award, (ii) valid First Aid Certificate, (iii) valid Local Certificate of Competency as Coxswain Grade 3 Certificate or above and valid Local Certificate of Competency as Engine Operator Grade 3 Certificate or above; or valid Local Certificate of Competency for Government Vessels; or valid local Pleasure Vessel Operator Grade 2 Certificate of Competency or above or equivalent, and (iv) transcripts/certificates of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority submitted in person or by post should reach the Appointments and Establishment Unit, Leisure Services Branch Support Section, 7/F, Leisure and Cultural Services Headquarters, 1-3 Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin, N. T., Hong Kong not later than 30 September 2026 (before 5:30 p.m. for applications submitted in person).
Please specify clearly “Application for the post of Artisan (Lifeguard at Water Sports Centre)” on the envelope. The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application. To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage. Applications which are incomplete, late, submitted by fax or email, not duly signed by the applicants, or not made in the prescribed form will not be processed.
Applicants may also apply online through the Civil Service Bureau’s website (https://www.csb.gov.hk), and submit copies of the above-mentioned documents (i) to (iv) in person or by post to the contact address, or by email to [email protected], within one week after the close of application period (i.e. on or before 7 October 2026), and quote the online application number on the envelope/ in the email subject and every page of the copies of supporting documents. If applicants who apply online fail to provide supporting documents as requested, their applications will not be considered.
Candidates who hold academic qualifications awarded by local institutions/ Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority are not required to submit photocopies of the official transcripts and certificates at this stage of application.
Candidates who are invited for selection interview and trade tests will be required to produce the original copies of (i) valid Beach Lifeguard Award, (ii) valid First Aid Certificate, (iii) valid Local Certificate of Competency as Coxswain Grade 3 Certificate or above and valid Local Certificate of Competency as Engine Operator Grade 3 Certificate or above; or valid Local Certificate of Competency for Government Vessels; or valid local Pleasure Vessel Operator Grade 2 Certificate of Competency or above or equivalent, and (iv) the official transcripts and certificates of local/ non-local academic qualifications for verification, as well as photocopies for record purposes (applicable to those of which photocopies are not required when applications are submitted). The application will not be considered if any candidate fails to produce the original copies of the required documents for verification.
[Notes:
(i) Candidates should state clearly in their applications details of the qualifications in lifesaving and first aid and working experience;
(ii) Candidates should also state clearly in their applications full record of academic attainments and employment as shortlisting criteria may be applied for selecting qualified candidates to selection interview and trade tests;
(iii) If an applicant concurrently applies for both the Artisan(Lifeguard at Water Sports Centre) and Artisan(Beach/Swimming Pool) posts, the trade tests of the posts concerned will be jointly conducted, i.e. qualified applicants after initial vetting will be invited to attend only one common trade test, but separate selection interviews for the posts concerned; and
(iv) Candidates working in the Leisure and Cultural Services Department should state clearly in the applications their present rank and posting.]
Candidates who are selected for selection interview and trade tests will normally receive an invitation (by email or by post) in about four to ten weeks from the closing date for applications. This period may be longer in exceptional circumstances or when a large number of applications are received. Those who are not invited for trade test and selection interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
